What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as your cookie choice, and let tools like Google Analytics count visits.

Our Approach

Our website uses very few cookies. Apart from one cookie that remembers your choice, no cookies are set until you click “Accept All” on our cookie banner. If you click “Reject All”, or ignore the banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

We do not use cookies to log you in, we do not run social media plug-ins, and we do not use any advertising network other than Google.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view and how they found us. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details.

Advertising (only if you accept)

We advertise on Google. These cookies tell us whether someone who clicked one of our Google ads went on to send an enquiry, so we can see which adverts work and stop paying for ones that don't.

Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode

Our pages load Google Tag Manager, which is the tool that runs the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.

We use Google Consent Mode. Every visit starts with analytics and advertising storage switched off, and they are switched on only if you click “Accept All”.

If you reject cookies: Google's tags still load, but they are told not to set or read cookies. They may send Google basic, cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed, plus technical details such as your browser type. Google uses these to estimate visit and conversion totals without identifying you. Google receives your IP address with these requests, as it does with any web request.

Changing Your Mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Click the button below, or “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page, to reopen the banner. If you switch to “Reject All”, we delete any Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies already saved on our website.
